Frequently Asked Questions
Are you the manufacturer or a trading company?
Manufacturer. SIGHTSPEC is the export brand of a precision sight glass and flow indicator factory. We cut, fuse, assemble and pressure-test windows in our own facility, and ship direct to engineering firms, integrators and distributors worldwide.
What glass types do you offer and when is each used?
Soda-lime glass below 300°F, borosilicate (DIN 7080) up to 572°F, and quartz or sapphire above 572°F for high-temperature steam. Borosilicate is our standard because of its thermal-shock and corrosion resistance.
Can you make custom sizes and OEM/ODM products?
Yes. We offer OEM/ODM on sizes from 1/4" to 12", custom flange drilling, laser-engraved branding, special gasket materials and hygienic surface finishes (Ra ≤ 0.4 µm). Send your drawing or sample for a quote.
What is your MOQ and lead time?
Standard sizes: no hard MOQ for samples, 10 pcs typical for production. Lead time is 7–15 days for standard items, 20–30 days for custom tooling.
Do you provide certificates and test reports?
Yes — material certificates, pressure test reports, DIN 7080 conformity and USP Class VI / FDA compliance documentation are available with each shipment.
